As a mom to four, I am familiar with the feeling of wanting to hold onto a moment forever. To just take in their soft skin, their sweet cheeks or the way their tiny hands instantly wrap around your little finger.
In Home Newborn Sessions are perfect for not just capturing their beautiful features, but to create art that reflects the emotion you feel in this season with your family. Together we can find a location, either in your home or a studio, to capture the memories of just being together.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is it best to take newborn photos?
I aim to take newborn photos within the first 3 weeks after baby’s birth date. I only accept a limited number of due dates per month in order to make your session a priority. Once your baby arrives, you will let me know and we can schedule your session date from there. Newborn sessions are scheduled during the week on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings.
Do you offer Maternity Sessions too?
Yes! I love getting to capture the season of anticipation before your little babe arrives.
How far do you travel?
I currently serve the Dallas area and do not travel more than 40 minutes to a location (without traffic). If you live outside of this radius, there will be an additional travel fee on top of the session price.
How do I know if my home will photograph well?
I use natural light for all of my photos. Take a day to observe your home - when all of the lights are off, do you have light streaming through your windows? Great! I use those bright windows to create the images you see in my work. You do not have to have a pottery barn magazine home, but having natural light is the main goal. If you are unsure, we can talk about in home versus studio versus outdoor sessions to find what fits your family best.
